Sarah (Sarai)


Sarah being the mother of all the ancestors of Israel became an interesting character to me. She showed herself in so many different ways that she was pure human and used her free agency. Her story with her husband, the pharaoh, Hagar, her step-son Ishmael, her husband taking their only son to sacrifice him; with all the things that she went through her personal trials and s her personal strengths. When studying her in each of her stories you can see how she would go was not a super hero but the feelings she had as a real human being going through life trying to live and do right into the teachings of god. She just became more than just a story to me she became real. She along with her husband wanted God's promises and gained a learning of life's lessons. Let's dig deeper into her and her stories and begin to see how she grew and possessed human traits we all possess.
