Wife of Cain

Cain's Wife

There is not much really known about Cain's wife from the scriptures. The things that we do learn of her can come studying Cain's punishment. who was she exactly? Moses 5:28 we learn that Cain took one of his brothers daughters to be his wife. It also says in that same scripture that they loved Satan more than god. From reading that we know who she was drawn to worship. That the support of both spouses in worship was the same.

We also know she was a part of the first generations that were sent to earth from god.

My thoughts on my learning of her is even though they loved Satan they still were in the presence of learning of the Lord and able to converse with him. I think how would I feel of i was in her place? If I just found out that my husband just killed his brother? Could I accept the gate of my husband and leave the presence of the Lord and keep standing by my husband's side? She must have been a strong woman to accept the gate and say " okay honey I will follow you. My values are the same as yours so let's do what we were told to do and go. "  Trying to serve to masters but knowing once leaving that part of land now only serving one. She stuck by Cain. She is what a lot of people would say now is " she was a ride or die woman". Willing to take on and love by his side through his days of punishment.

She loves Cain despite everything that was done to the family. They were driven out front he gave of the lord. They in return dwelt in the land of God with Cain's brethren who also loved Satan.

What things would she have to except for the curse that Cain received? The rolling of the ground that wouldn't henceforth yield fruit easily. That Cain would be a vagabond and fugitive to the earth. Being driven from the presence of the lord. Knowing that if anyone slated Cain vengeance would be seven fold. The curse or marking that was placed upon Cain that no one would kill him. The life they would toil in the land.

In acts 17:26 and he has made every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth. To me the stands as a representation to Cain and his wife that God gave them a way to be represented as will here on this earth.  That God still loves them unconditionally with the choices they made. 

The lesson we can learn from gains wife is that even though she loves Satan more than God's she was taught by her parents. She was taught values that were still instilled inside her and carried on by standing by her husband's side. She still had a valid to the family. That even through her example God wants us to know he cares for us . She teaches us that we can be brought up right sit on both sides of the fence and then make a decision which way we want to follow. As one of the scriptures say no man can have two masters. Either he will love the one and hate the other. That their is still a family value  that we seek to lean on that we question at times of we are in the right place. That even with those values we can turn out backs on everything taught and walk away from all that was good. She accepted the  fate that fell upon her husband and loved with the choices they made. 

Like Enoch said "choose you this day whom he will serve!" Each one of us in life has a choice who we will stand by. We can't be fence sitters forever having one foot in good and one foot in evil. Eventually we will choose one side to follow and carry on and love the rest of our lives following. So whose side so you want to follow the Lord's or Satan's? We have that choice it's our lives and it's the choice of were we truly want to be in the end of our lives is the choice we will follow?  If sitting on the fence one day or even though you sitting there your actions might actually show you have chosen one over the other all ready. .. Good for thought. Think what do your actions say of you now and is there something you feel like you can change?
