Noah 's Wifey

I've decided to even the women behind the men. They suffered and went through a Lot of the same things that their husbands. I think we forget how much we as women go through for our families. We stand behind each individual on their decision and path they may take. We hope as a child grows that we are giving them the tools they need in life to survive and to hold onto in their values. We strive everyday to be an example to reach our children right from wrong. We also strive for our husband to stand behind them or our fathers and brothers sisters and mothers to be a beacon of light. We try and keep things so much together and to make sure everyone is provided for in the family.
  I take a look at Moans wife and think what type of person could she be? She was definitely the wife of Noah but she also had children of her own who she taught values of righteousness to that they carried with them . We learn the Shem, Japeth, and Ham followed their fathers footsteps in following their father and teaching alongside him. Makes you wonder how much of an influence this woman had on those boys to follow their dad.
  She must be been a strong women spiritually, believing in God to stand behind him and have faith in the words he said that the earth would be flooded. Even if it seemed like it was ridiculous to build an ark. How many days she must be worried about this man who it says in the scriptures that the giants wanted to kill. Thinking maybe to herself will i see my husband come back alive day after day when he went preaching. What kind of mockery? What torment that they endured? How much work and comfort she had to provide to her husband her own children letting them know better days were ahead because of her faith. Being a support system to him to keep his strength up to do the Lord's work. Makes you wonder if there were days that she might be gone along in his preaching, in Noahs gathering of the animals and seeds and food to be eaten in the ark.  What was her job in all of this gathering do you think? She believed in god enough to follow the teachings of her  husband. She had faith enough to know that they would be saved otherwise why else would she enter the ark? She had to have faith that her husband wasn't crazy and that the events were going to happen. A personal testimony of knowing who God was to me.  She must be been a great source of encouragement to Noah in days were he wondered why the people weren't listening.  
Noahs wife was also bestowed the honor of replenishing the earth along with her son's wives. What an honor to know God counted on you but also a scary blessing of what if I fail to do what the Lord wants? Knowing that generations upon generations will hear the story of the flood. 
she helped preserve life and enter a new world cleaned from destruction. The same way we do when we take On God's covenants when we are babtized and repent.  We leave our old ways behind when we choose to follow God's law we leave the old ways behind to preserve and love God's word creating a new life to follow in his path.  He holds the tools to life. Just like Noahs wife held the tools to bring forth a new beginning in life to help bring forth offspring.
She has the teachings in her hands to teach a new generation that a new life is attainable and what seems impossible can be made possible. She can teach that God does watch over those who leave behind old ways and does call upon us when in trouble trying to comfort and let us know he is there. That there is hope in renewal to standing behind God in faith. She teaches that old covenants that we made with god can be renewed. This also reminded me in solitude of what Christ did for us when he came to earth he came to let go of the old covenants and in return we have have new covenants out in place. He was born and stones for our sins. He had old covenants with his people Israel and when he came he opened the doors with new covenants for the whole entire world. Bringing promises that we all can be saved in him. They are stepping stones in life and a learning tool to provide us with the things we need to ensure to the end. What do you feel our old covenants made and would like to renew in your life? What can you do to strengthen your faith in God to help you ensure until the end? What do you feel can be a stepping stone to help you meet the goals in your life or even help you feel more at peace in god? 
 We learn from Noahs wife as will that the tools in life come from faithfulness to god. With a deep urge to serve. Even though life around her had ended for those she probably loved, she was willing to ensure all the way to the end. Her journeys took her into the promises that God made. Even if requests seemed ridiculous she had the faith to follow and courage to love by his word. She was strong enough to move forward with patience and understanding to God's work that she in the end was saved by his grace.
