Daughters of Noahs sons
Daughters of Noah 's Sons
Nodes 8:14-15 And when the men began to multiply on the face of the Earth, and daughters were born into them and the sons of men saw that those daughters were fair, and they took wives, even as they chose. And the Lord said into Noah the daughters of the sons have sold themselves: for behold my anger is kindled against the sons of men; for they will not hearken to my voice.
Here we read how the daughters to the sons of Noah turn their back on the teachings of their fathers. They turned to the beliefs of the son s of men their husbands. Who happen to come after them and chose them because of their fairness and desires to have them. They married these men turning their backs on the Lord un-righteousness. In return The Lord see them as selling themselves short to the blessings that could be theirs. Re-kindling his anger towards the sons of men. Being born and raised into righteousness and being lead to unrighteousness. They were chosen upon to be mislead to the way of Satan loosing the blessings God was going to give them.
How many times in our life no matter the situation so you sale yourself short? How does not have a strong testimony or values system destroy you? How can a person with a strong testimony turn their back on everything they believe? People can tell you what great talents, belief system you have, etc. But all the self-doubt will take you to another place. The self-belief of being able to accomplish takes over into self-fear causing us in return to sale ourself short of what could be been to accomplish in blessings.
What if we actually believed we could help be a change in the world even if it is just one person we put our time and effort in without losing ourself. That person might just need a smile walking through the store a complete stranger. Someone in need no matter how you feel about them or what the change in heart can happen. What a difference and impact we can possibly have On them. Why is it as a human being we settle for less than what can be ours? God provides us a way a plan to make it back. Through his son and mercy that he gives it all to us. So why do we get so scared of the unknown, loose our faith and even turn out backs on god? He beacons to us daily for our return and open arms waiting for us to ask. Ready to give us his love with open arms. Yet we all strive for sovereignty a place of being and to know our personal role in life! what if we quit looking and started to live they way God wants us to? Sometimes in life we need to just make a list of what we feel about ourself and what others compliment us on and take it with great stride that we have value and worth! That God doesn't sale is short? Live life that you do deserve all that God has to offer, and he sees and knows your worth! Maybe even ask am I selling myself short of the blessings that could be mine by carrying on in my ways?
Lessons i learned from the daughters of Noahs sons is i have sold myself short in parts of my life. Keeping me from blessings that could be mine by being self destructive in decisions i have made. Taking me down paths i never imagined as a youth. It's taken me from goals i desires at a time and still do. I know it's not to late for me to achieve the blessings i truly desire now like going through the temple. My hearts desire is there more and more now than when I was On the path of I'm not worthy because of an act that was acted upon me as a child. Never realized the affects and the way my choices would take me by feeling that I was dirty because of being raped as a child. My life so far has been based on my desires and choices of the heart. It's even taken me again towards my study of gospel principles. I never forgot God and I know he was there calling me. I wasn't ready! Heard years ago we have blessings that God tries to bestow upon us which in return we don't receive because of selling ourself short. We sale ourself short from the freedoms that could be ours. I hope the realization for anyone who reads this and has gone through and things in life God loves you!
