To me the Garden of Eden represents God's house the same way that temples are represented today in the LDS church. The reason why temple recommends are obtained to be able to feel his presence more closely. We look at temples as a way to be close to God. That agency that freedom that God gave to them and to us is the same way that the adversary tried to erase the sensitivities with Eve in regards of his chances to try and keep us away from becoming as God is and the knowledge.
The pressure that he gives us that even though it is so sutile in our lives it was still significantly enhanced after eating of the fruit from the tree of knowledge. Therefore his hope of having us with in his reach is exponentially advanced. There is a small message here that way and rises can be turned to God's use for mankind. God knows our hearts and the lesson we can learn from making a mistake can be also used to help others not to follow the same path to help keep them in the right path instead of Satan to take us completely down. We were sent here to succeed and protected by God's hand with a protection to his loving promises and benevolent grace to even forgiving is of our shortcomings.
Bringing us to God calling out to Adam and eve after they partook of the fruit. When they heard God's voice they tried to hide and cover themselves with dog leaves. How many of us try to hide or not let others are what wrong doings we have done? Or how many times in our lives have we tried to do things on or own with our letting God in On our decision making that we feel we covered ourself with fig leaves? Or how about even trying to hide our own actions from god? Even though we have an intuition of right and wrong. This here reminds me of the fact we as human beings try so hard to do a lot of things on our own. Representation to me of self sufficiency in our own lives.
We also learn here that God asks them why they hid? The answer from our first parents was they were naked. The act of hiding and covering themselves up made me think how many times in my life I tried to do things with our God's help. Making choices that weren't always the best in my life. The feeling of being naked with our the right tools to help move forward. The feeling of being scared and you know you absolutely need him in your life but you still keep on the path of choice. Yet he keeps calling asking us how come we hide from him instead of her down on our knees and let him know what the matter is and asking for help.
They then we're clothed by god. This here reminds me how a person goes through the temple and after ward a are able to wear temple garments. To me that represents the way God gives us protection like he did Adam and eve through the priesthood through his power. They let God help them in a time that knowledge became more intense and their minds confused about the way they were feeling of guilt or being naked and let God dress them. When we follow their example to let God help us in our confusion and take those baby steps one at a time we can make it through the things that we feel are completely impossible possible. Giving a deeper meaning and understanding to the priesthood and princess that are performed from baptism to temple ordinances and e receiving the priesthood and is as woman are futile ways of just being a woman with are unique traits we have that innately we are born to automatically serve others.
Eve act that led to the transgression and fall of man was a transgression but I'm the end was eternally a necessity for mankind. It opened the doorway to our eternal lives and theirs. Giving us God's plan to redemption that was set forth before we came here upon this earth. She made the decision with the true identity of her life mission. That discernment have her the ability to see beyond the Garden to be a woman of divine womanhood. She gave each one of us woman God's gift of discernment as will as her offspring of men a way of making choices in our life through our agency. She paved a way for us to be daughters of God by being an example to all of us of her life after the garden.
