Shem's  Wife


There is not a whole lot about Shem's wife. I start wondering what has she taught me though being an occupant of the ark with Noah, had brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, and mother-in-law. What type of faith and trust she would be had to follow. She must be been a strong lady to be able to follow the prompting of her father-in-law as will as husband. To be able to ensure in faith that everything would be okay.
I think about the lesson i can learn from her is following the words of the prophets. Even if the words might seem so far fetched and that there is no rain in the skye. We can still follow the prophet. Gaining a testimony of knowing what he is telling us is true that we may follow in the Lord's way. In Moroni 10:4-5 there is an invitation given to a anyone that reads the Book Of Mormon. (Moroni 10:4-5) And when he shall receive these things, I would exhort you that he would ask god, the eternal father, in the name of christ, if these things are true;  and if he shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in christ, he manifest the truth of it into you, by the power of the holy ghost. And by the power of the holy ghost he may know the truth of all things.
Shem's wife in order to follow her father-in-law in what might of seemed crazy would had to take what he was saying to the lord. She wanted to follow him on faith and trust. But she would be had questions that could be crossed her mind am I doing the right thing? Taking in prayer whether she should follow him. She must be gotten an answer because she became one of the few people that was saved. following the prophets voice taking on prayer to find the truth of the prophecy. As will as being a supporter of her husband. 
God gives us that promise of we question anything that we can go to him in prayer and through his son we can gain a knowledge of the truthfulness. All we need to do is go to him in faith he can give us an answer whether right or wrong. Helping us through problems that may seem impossible to help it be possible. Just believing in him,having faith in him, and to act upon the prompting we receive. He can help us know the teachings of our decisions to help us get through to gain knowledge of hearts desires.
