A Priesthood Blessing

Let's look at the blessing that Rebekah receives before she leaves her family. We are told in Genesis 24:60(kjv) and they blessed Rebekah, and said into her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them. This reminds me of the guidance we receive when we get a Priesthood Blessing from a worthy member in the church(the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints(LdS)).
Just like many of us seek out blessings when we seek for guidance sickness or even a patriarchal blessing. Rebekah shows us the same thing when she was getting ready to leave. How many of us just seek a Priesthood Blessing when sick or prepare for a patriarchal blessing. What other reasons do we seek out blessings?
Elder Dallin H Oaks said " Priesthood keys direct women as well as men, and priesthood ordinances and priesthood authority pertain to women as well as men. " Priesthood blessings help many of us find direction or even help us get through hardships. We can ask for a Priesthood Blessing at any time. It doesn't matter if sick or just seeking some sort of answer. God's priesthood blessings are meant for all that seek out comfort. He has given away for us to help us through good time and bad . Just like Bonnie L Oscarson said " we can all enjoy the full blessings of priesthood power " God has made this earth under his power to give us a place passing on his power through keys to be passed on to be able to take place for one of the great gifts given to us to feel God's love and words through a blessing given by those in authority to hold this gift.
