Hagar Conceives Ishmael
Soon after Hagar Becomes Abraham's wife she conceived her son Ishmael. She felt and was seeing the anger or jealousy of sarah. Hagar then suffered at Sarah's hand and runs away. Leading her to a well of water. When an angel appeared during her sobbing and tells her to go back and suffer at her master's hand. She then saying that the lord hearest her prayers.
What this part of the story made me think of is how many times do we feel we are suffering at God's hands during our trials? There have been times in my life I have asked why am I being for Salem to go through trial? Or because of my choices in my life I know I have asked why? We in our lives as human beings look at our parents the same way as we look at God as why are you letting me go down this path? Yet in the end we try to lead our children down a path that we pray will help them in their liffe. Just like God does for all is spirit children.
Just like the angel tells Hagar to go back and suffer at her master's hand. Her reflection is God hearest me. I see this as a way of submission to excepting trials in our life and too be able to make it through because God hearest our prayers like he did Hagar prayer. He wants us to be able to submit to the trial and be able to rely on him to be able to get through and know at the end of the tunnel their is hand in all of it to be able to teach another, to be able to say to others the miracles that God has given us during that submission to be able to except the teachings of that trial or to except the consequences of our actions that we choose. He wants us to be able to kneel down in prayer to be able to say to him "God I accept this trial but he lets us choose how we will get through it. God hearest our prayers and hearest our pain and he wants us to know that during our suffering he is their guiding us in ways we might not see unless we look. He listens and heard our plea s.
The other thing that we see with Hagar is she is promises that her son will multiply the earth. Not forgetting that she will be a mother of a child by abraham. She was given personal revelation what will happen.
