Parable of The Woman who Lost a Silver Piece
Like 15:8-10 Either what woman having ten prices of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, rejoice with me for I have found the price which I had lost. Like wise, I say into you, there is not in the presence of the angels of god over one winner that repenteth.
The parable of the woman who lost the silver coin encourages all of us to devote care to others in the human race. The thing it teaches us that we can put all our effort to devote relationships with God and others in our life. When you think of this woman who had ten silver pieces and then looses one how do you think she felt? How would you feel in her place if it was you? I'm the beginning many of us our taught somewhere about Christ about god we have all those pieces of silver that are precious to us. Along the way we start to question and so we began that search of truly knowing who God is? So as the woman we are searching with out a light to remember who we truly are. We search never truly giving up on who or what we are or even look for our mission here on the earth. We sweep problems away look in the same places that we looked before. In return we still come up empty handed. How many of us in life search for value of who you are? To truly know that self worth that another sees in you but completely keep looking and overlooking the good you might do in another person's life. Some people I know look to keep up with their neighbors to find that monetary value. The treasures of the world the pleasures that we become so acquainted with. We want others to think we got it all out together because of the things we possess or brag about. But I'm all reality we like the woman searching for that small piece of value in our life such as a Silver coin. Everyday we stumble because all we see in front of us is darkness. Because the coin is so valuable to her she continued to search for it. Now what if we turn that around to god searching for us looking to reconnect to us be cause he sees the value we carry, would that make a difference? Would you be able to trust and find his word in your life to strive to love his promises. One of the things we can do iisn our search in finding the thing most precious to us is start trusting in the unknown even if we feel that there is no one really out there listening to our prayers. Then search the scriptures diligently to even know who you are in him by taking the most concerned thought on your mind to him in prayer and study. A certain subject sometimes helps to start with. As we diligently search and trustand bring an open mind and heart to our quest we can grow in a deeper knowledge, and start to grasp hold to the light. As we do so we can share our testimony the good news of who we are in finding God in our own way. You never know who you might help along the way. As the woman she finally find the silver piece and runs to others to share upon her good noise to have everyone rejoice in her finding what is familiar to her her worth in his and his son christ. To fully grasp that she knows truly who she is. Holding on to that gospel that she has. Working so hard to strive in restoration of the relationship she might have felt in losing herself to make things right in her father's eyes. The angels rejoicing as she has come and repented of losing what is most precious to her in finding her self in god. In his gospel teachings in her life to be more like him. The changes we go through in our life can be stepping stones in our whole journey we can learn and endure to God's covenants and learn from those mistakes that we feel might deteriorate our relationship with him. In the end the woman shares with others and brings hospitality to all her friends and neighbors around her asking them into her circle to rejoice in the accomplishment in finding her lost silver coin and sharing her testimony of finding God again? Even the angels rejoice when we repent and come back to him. Because we are a family in this race called life.
