A Woman Builds Her House

Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman builder her house; but the foolish pluckers it down with her hands. This scripture is hitting me hard the past couple of days made me think what am I coming in my own home to teach my children the importance of being wise and foolish? Especially since we are the biggest teachers. We are also the one that seems to maintain so much on the forefront of the home even if rules have been reversed we as women deal with alot.  We seem to be the first to wake up the last to bed, checking all the doors making sure each child is comfortable, we sacrifice to teach and show our children and gets the best that we can be with God or with out god. We seem to want always the best for thwm. Searching when nothing else is there to give. so how can we be a wide woman in our own homes to bring the type of peace we would like for all that live there and all that enter? How do you feel your being a foolish woman in tearing down things that trully matter in your values in ...

Naaman's Wife

Naaman's wife is mentioned in 2 Kings 5:2-4 of with  The Unnamed little maid . We find out she is the wife of a war hero. She listened and took the issue of her husband to the king of Syria with the news that her husband could be healed by a prophet. Her role as his wife must have been great for the honor her husband held as a hero. How could one woman believe in the word of her maid? It makes you wonder how His prepared her heart to be in a listening point that she would be willing to help her husband. How many times in your life do you ever feel like God has prepared or even preparing you to accept his hand in your life? All the wars, all the things she must have been through while her husband was away. What seeds could have someone planted in her to trust a small Jewish girl whose faith for another would bring a miracle in her families life? The words and faith to trust someone insignificant in a holding position brought action to act by many. A seed was planted by a testimony ...

The Unnamed Little Servant Girl

Her story is found in 2Kings:1-15 Naw man a captain of the host of the King of Syria being a great man and honorable was given by the Lord deliverance of Syria.  He was a mighty man of valour but he was also a leper. The Syrians had gone out by companies and brought back by companies slaves. One of them that was brought back became captive out of the land was a Little Servant girl who waited on Naaman's wife. She understood what was going on and suggested to his wife that her husband seek out the prophet Elisha who God her Lord was with in Samaria. And that he could help heal her husband of the leprosy. The wife and all the others that were with her went about telling Naaman and the king. Which started a chain reaction to a man deciding if he should follow a prophets word turning away and then testifying that God of Israel is the only true god. This little servant girl served her mistress daily. Do you think she felt that they would listen to her word and start a chain reaction...

The Woman of Canaan

The Syrphecian Woman Matthew 15:22-  , Mark 7:24-30   In both of these books we find a woman who can put of the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. She called into Christ saying that her daughter was previously vexed with a devil. He answered her not a word. The disciples came and said send her away. She growth after us. But he answered and said that I am not sent for the lost sheep of israel. Then she came and worshipped him saying, lord, help me. But he answered and said it is not meet that I should take the children's bread and to cast it to the dogs. And she said truth, lord yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from the masters table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, I woman, great is that faith: be it into the even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. This woman went looking for an answer from Canaan. She sought Christ out to help her in healing a loved one. She didn't want her daughter to be tortured in any way by day and e...

Parable of The Woman who Lost a Silver Piece

Like 15:8-10 Either what woman having ten prices of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, rejoice with me for I have found the price which I had lost. Like wise, I say into you, there is not in the presence of the angels of god over one winner that repenteth. The parable of the woman who lost the silver coin encourages all of us to devote care to others in the human race. The thing it teaches us that we can put all our effort to devote relationships with God and others in our life.  When you think of this woman who had ten silver pieces and then looses one how do you think she felt? How would you feel in her place if it was you? I'm the beginning many of us our taught somewhere about Christ about god we have all those pieces of silver that are precious to us. Along the way we start to question and so we began that s...

Mary Hears the word

Knowing God's Word Like 8:19-21 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press. And it was told him by certain which said, they mother and they brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. And he answered and said unto them, my mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God , and do it.   Just is talking to the people and giving them parables one happened to be in the sower and the interpretation of  the parable. When his mother and brothers come seeking for him. After describing to the people of how seeds are planted and were they grow it can gain root of be strangled or can hear the master and grow with it. He is told she is waiting to see him and he puts her and his brothers as an example of a person that heard God's word and does it. This part of Mary's story hit me strong. One of the reasons it hit me strong is her son saw how she lives and heard God's word. She not only exercised the faith but she put G...

The Adultress woman

Cast the First Stone John 8:1-11 The story of the actress woman begins with the Pharisees taking a woman to Jesus and telling home she was adulterers and caught right in the act. They reminded Jesus that in the law of  Moses that when someone caught in adultery they faced the consequence of being stoned. They even asked him what he says about the whole entire situation. Trying to tempt him or as our terms today pick a fight or bully him into doing what shouldn't be done on a sunday. As thou the Pharisees were trying to get him to throw the first punch to accuse Christ of wrong doing. Here we see him just ignore and turn the other cheek and continue to write in the sand. As they continued asking him what they should do he stopped writing in the sand looked at her accusers and said unto them "he who is without son among you cast the first stone at her." And then he went again writing in the ground. The those that heard it left one by one. When they all left Jesus lifte...
