The Woman Who Saved the Baby Moses

Many times we wonder how our simple acts of kindness play an impact on someone's life. When we look at Pharoah's daughter in rescuing Moses from the river we get to see the act play out for Moses. We get to see how one woman's decision helps a nation. Instead of leaving the barge in the water she became curious to what could be crying. Gaining as we look upon her the compassion she gives to a baby that goes on and save many. Her status in the court would have given the baby protection, and  to face her father could have given her execution as will. Would type of influence she must have had to save this one soul from being destroyed like so many other children around that time. Her wisdom on letting a Hebrew raise the child she found when confronted have way for Moses to be taught in his young age to know his own people's way. It makes me wonder how much she knew about the Hebrews that she was able to teach him as will or if she brought someone in to continue teaching him. With the type of influence she had when she received Moses back into her arms the teaching of Egyptian rule would now come in play for Moses to be able to learn the way of government, leadership, and laws the things that he would need to organize such a large number of people. God's way of helping him be taught to know the inner workings of being able to know how the court of pharoah would work when the time came and was needed. Pharoah's daughter brought him to the things that would be important to what I'm time would be a necessity to the future of Israel. 

The motherly instincts to take care of a child that wasn't hers shows how she has a love for others. The radiation and warmth of love she could show this child. The sacrifice she would give up in raising a Hebrew child meant for death as her own. What factors did she risk at that time? What factors in our life do we take when we take a chance and do what is right? We get to see her as a kindergarten bible Egyptian princess. Who probably even raised the future pharoah and Moses together as brothers teaching them love comes in different forms. But even when the time would come adopted into the family differences will occur.

What type of faith and how much knowledge did she have of the Hebrew God to help Moses learn of his own people. That one day he would recognize it was God speaking to him in a burning bush? 

She raised Moses to be a great man to those that knew him. She even let him know he was born of Hebrew blood. Her deliverance of a child in the water preserved Moses to be able to do the Lord's will in the appointed time that Israel was freed. Her lifestyle and opportunity brought about the teachings and played a role on influences that her adopted son would one day need. Her role in God's plan might have started out as something as a simple act of kindness turned into a deliverance and preservation of a nation. She has a place in history in helping along God's plan. Do we ever know what acts of kindness as simple as touching another person's life might bring about for another? When you have fun into someone and they say that it is because of you generosity that helped them through a time they needed it most ever just got you?
