Jochebed
We have a new heroine in Jochebed a mother that will do what is needed to save her child. I think many of us find ourself as mothers in ways would save our child and become their real life hero. So many mothers play a part in history to save nations that come to god. Jochebed's part as Moses mother definitely played that part and wrote history in her son.
We get to learn that Jochebed name means glory of Jehovah or Jehovah is her or our glory. What's in a name? Have you ever wondered that upon your names meaning. She worked a miracle in her clever design to preserve her son's life. Taking her distinct qualities that have her the courage to hide her son and then to be daring enough to build an ark and put him in the river where he could be found. Especially by the pharoah's daughter. With that strength and trust in the Lord that day she was able to save her son's life but also was given a chance to raise him and he an influential impact on those young years on teaching him the promises of god. She became a heroine of faith that Moses life would be spared by whoever found him and that the river would not swallow him up as will. That determination to save her son's life. How many mothers, aunts, sisters, friends would do that to protect another? Do you think that Jochebed seen from the time her son was born something different about him and that the Lord was with him from the time of birth?
Jochebed had a mothers character I believe all of us women have an insight to our children. She also I believe she carried with her the character of a mother that held steadfast in god. Which became the soul support of each one of her children. Her character of a mother that never lost hope of her children which in return have others a better life! What characters as a mother(parent) do you think helps your children out?
I believe Jochebed teaches us to let go and trust god. How many times or even recently have you ever just let go and trusted god? She also teaches us as mothers we have our work cut out. That God uses us to behind our children to help them grow in the direction he needs our children to go to go about his will. Through us God wants us to use our wisdom to raise righteous men and women in his fight against the evil and by preparing our children in the good fight we are creating God-fearing soldiers who can bring many souls back to him. She teaches us how personal revelation and listening to those prompting saved her son and created a plan for him to be saved that he might be able to save many others that chose to follow when Israel was saved. He gave Jochebed the talents needed to make the ark so it could float upon the water and not sink. How many of us have turned to our mothers for our own personal ark in life to help us be carried upon the water of life so we don't drown in our own feelings of life is to much? Or to help us build character in our own children? How do you think that God uses the rivers of life to help save our own life along with others. Do you think he has given us an ark to float on? Do you think that is why he sent his son? Because he is our ark in our own daily life leading us to a pharoah's daughter just like Moses was sent to have that someone in our life be place d in front of us to save us? Christ being our ark is a seed of hope that many of overlook to be our guide when crying out for help. Sometimes we don't understand completely how but through that atonement he created he gave us our ark in life to help save us in this life and the next. I like what Henry Jack says" out of our beliefs are born deeds, out of our deeds we form habits, out of our habits grow our character. We build our destiny!

Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved. " what ways can we develop on our godly character that can help others to develop on the recognition of God's will in your life or anothers?
