 My Testimony of Elder Eyre's Talk oct.2025 Divine Identity

Many times in life we look to other sources than God. From my study this past week. I remembered why I started to study the women in scripture. That study brought me to understand the influence each one of us give in our life. As i studied this week there are 2 points that came out to me. They are a constant reminder of what I feel the Lord wants me to teach and live by. The first is "Your identity as a child of God is unchanging. Seek his voice, remember your divine worth, and let Christ help you see yourself as Heaven Sees you!" Many times we forget that we have a divine nature that comes from eternal parents. As I studied the women in scripture I got to learn the Worth of women. That God sees each of us as a co-creator in his work. Our worth is so precious to him that he knows how each of us has a need. that need is many times what he is waiting for us to come to him and ask. He knows our name just as he called Joseph Smith by name and aske him to hear his son speak when he went into the grove of trees. I have to say the little souls of primary are so precious that even in a ward family as they come to know their own identity and just to see how they develop each year that they grow in their testimony has grown my testimony and had taught me that every individual soul is important to the savior and our heavenly father. We have our gifts that bring into our own family at home, immediate family the ones we have chosen as friend and that in our wards and community that when one soul is missing you can tell. because even if they don't recognize it that energy is missing and greatly loved. The second thing that hit me strongly in my study was, "God is in relentless pursuit of you!" I can testify tot his God does try to get our attention he will seek us out because he truly wants us to be brought home by that way Jesus has taught us to go. We are never lost to the Savior we are just out wittingly stubborn and try to do so many things our own way. Remember God knows your name. He is calling out to us each every day he knows what will bring our heart to him and he knows the path we will choose. We have a divine quality that you alone can carry that makes you unique in the family of God. He Loves you and actually wants you to feel that love so much that he brings people in our life that helps us to feel like we belong to the family of God and recognize our own divine identity that God has given to us. amen
