Women Believing Phillip
Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of god, and the name of Jesus christ, they were babtized, both men and women.
Through a prophets words we see that men and women were babtized. Our own belief and faith become a personal choice in receiving the apostles preaching on God's kingdom through his son Jesus Christ. We can then uphold to our covenants that we made at babtism. Let alone these were also Samaritan women. A racially by product from the kingdom of the North Jews and people of pagan belief. They believed in and taught of their core father's of Jacob's well. Yet they were an outcast given now an opportunity of having the blessings.
As Philip preached among the Samarians they had miracles come forth. The more they believed in Christ the more people followed and were babtized in his name sake. He preached to them that concerned the kingdom of god. How can us believing in the preaching on the kingdom of God bring us to know God better in his character? We read the scriptures on the mercy and grace that he gives to each of us. God being accepting even to those who were considered the outcasts. His salvation being meant for all that come to him no matter the past that they lived, the past of our forefathers, the past of our leaders do we let that define us. Or do we come to our savior because we learn that his word brings us to a return in his kingdom one day? Phillip saw the hungry souls of Samaria that he was willing to teach them and in return they were willing to take upon them the name of christ. How can the women in a society that has been rejected for generations now feel to be able to be accepted by the one who calls all to redemption? Many times we act instead of react the way that God would want us to and forget to see the potential that God sees in another's life. He sees we are all his children. Even Abraham was told through his seed all the earth would be blessed. What does that mean then to be able to take the gospel to the world to those around us and to those we have no idea because of our living a christlike life have seeds planted in their heart. The gentiles in the bible were blessed to receive of Christ's goodness the Samaritan were able to be blessed and accepted once again back into the fold being descendents of abraham. So you ever think how mother person's heart may be ready to accept what the Lord has in store for them. To be able to bring about his work. Christ came into the world for all that believe in him to bring salvation to a world that has been turned upside down to turmoil. Yet when we accept another to bring about his kingdom miracles of blessing flood through others souls that bring about change to others. We learn and are reminded from each other of the kingdom of God to turn to be babtized or reborn in our spirit to do all we can for god. We learn that the plan is for all to receive just as ourself. The women in Samaria that took on Samaria taught me that even though we can be brought to know the miracles and redemption is meant for all that seek Christ out to know who he is as will as what is in store in his kingdom. That also God holds to his promises to bring all that accept him back to him oneday.
