Multiply and Replenish(Eve)
So today as i was reading the creation once again my thoughts came the words Adam and Eve were commanded on Multiply and replenish the Earth. I know God also said not to take of the fruit of the tree of knowledge because they would handsome like the like the gods. Then i started to think how even Noah and his wife and the rest of his family were also commanded to multiply and replenish the earth. I had my moment when i realized it has another meaning. We read many times in scripture we are the vine of his fruit he prunes us. We are can put on the fruits of the spirit. God planted in the east corner of eden a garden for adam and eve. They were told to take care of the garden and to care for the animals.
As I was reading the thought crossed my mind from the typical meaning we always put on multiply and replenish. My thoughts were actually that of Learning. So I always find it interesting information that God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply always came across as offapring. As I was taught today with also our learning in this state of life perked my interest. I started to think how much can this do even with our spiritual growth and knowledge and the experience s we live and lessons we get to learn and utilize in our daily life. So Eve and Adam were every tree was pleasant to the sight to be able to eat from. Even the tree of knowledge of good and evil. it reads in Moses 5:12-13 And the God's commanded the man, saying: If every tree of the Garden Of Eden thou latest freely eat. But if the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in that time that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die. Which death that came to man was a spiritual death being cut off from god. It made me realize how much the tree of knowledge had to be placed inside the garden. In Genesis we have that subtil serpant that tells eve in chapter 3:4-5 And the serpant said into the woman ,He shall surely not die: For God with know I'm the day that he eat thereof , then your eyes shall be opened, and he shall be opened, and he shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Satan knew what was to come if they are of the fruit what he didn't realize God has a back up plan that when they did eat of the tree they would have a way home. Bringing us to that spiritual death of not being able to be near God as we live the mortal life. The day they are of the fruit was the day God's plan went into effect for all of us. Even to me must have seen even with the sinful words of the servant how much they also needed to grow teaching all that they could even in the garden. Bring her to undesirable seeing the fruit from the tree of knowledge as a most desirable fruit that was meant to be eaten. Even to share the fruit with her husband who Then followed suit in taking of the fruit. Have you ever felt you get past a test and it flies by with ease and Then their comes another test that seems to be harder than the first? Sometimes a trial might feel like another one so you wonder why again with this same scenario? So you try to think what do I need to learn that I can build on as scripture says line upon line precept on precept.
Now if we think of the forgetfulness of the gospel brings to others and our own salvation what does it being to your mind? What crossed my mind was how I have grown to know many different lessons that I have been taught in my trials.
The words that are written in 2Nephi 2:4-6 For the spirit is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And the way is prepared from the fall of man, and salvation is free. And men are instructed sufficiently that they know good from evil. And by the law no flesh is justified; or, by the law men are cut off. Yea, by the temporal law they were cut off; and also, by the spiritual law they perish from that which is good, and become miserable forever. WHerefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth. Bring about the words to me of the comfort of christ 's atonement on our behalf to the words of be fruitful and multiply. We can grow as scripture say s of the time of Christ sharing his goodness of the knowledge we have gained from whatever aspect has brought us to know christ. As we are being fruitful as others grow off our knowledge we plant seeds that help another grow in their knowledge and so forth which we are multiplying our strength in numbers to stand together in God's word. We help multiply each other's strength to grow stronger to be able to stand on one's feet. Part of me feels that God wanted to protect Adam and eve from the going through pain and he didn't want to loose them in the process. But even if it went against what God told them not to do it became the growth they needed to become one day like God and gain knowledge of good and evil. That is why the plan was sit in place and why we fought such a great battle to see that are agency was kept. Even with the subtil ways that Satan places in front of us God's plan is still there holding us a place to make it back with him. He loved the world that he sent his son that as we grew in knowing good and evil we still would be able to make it back to him.
