Prophecy Fulfilled Rachel Weeping

Mathew 2:18 In Ramah was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they were not. Prophecy: Jeremiah 31:15 Thus saith the Lord: A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rahal weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. I had to do my research on this passage of why it was important an how it could reflect in my life. Ramah was the area the tribe of Benjamin was given. Being the son of Rachel who wanted children so bad to the point she even told Jacob give me children otherwise I die. Even dying sometime after giving birth to Benjamin. So when Herod made the decree to have the infant children under two killed it was coming around the area of Ramah. Wanting the offspring so bad from Jacob I can see the significance of this as later generations are born. Have you ever wondered how someone who has passed on would act if they see...

Joseph, Mary, and Jesus Leave to Egypt

Mathew 2:13-14 The angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, arise, and take the young child and his mother  and flew to Egypt, and be thou there until I bring the word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt. how much trust Mary had to put into Joseph that he received personal revelation on behalf of the family. To get up leave there home that they have been making for them self to raise Jesus in to tech and to grow even more together. To have all out faith that the messenger that was sent for heir safety in the need to go and take courage to leave. How often do we listen in our lives on the behalf of another for our safety? The same goes with that burdening feeling that the holy ghost gives us of danger do we listen or do we stay knowing the outcome can be worse than what we are faced with? God has given us a companion of the holy ghost for this life to help guide us and ...

The Magi Visit Mary and her child Jesus

Mathew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him, and when they opened there treasures, they presented into him gifts gold, frakincense, and myrrh. I started to think on Mary's example of the gifts of the wise men for her son. She would have needed to accept the gifts on her son's behalf. Which I believe holds a significant value in itself. The hospitality to open her door to the Magi and let them in to worship her son. Then we also have the value of each of the gifts presented to the savior. The value of each one, there usage, and symbolism that it could possibly hold. As we see each gift given are gifts that are suitable of a long to be presented with at that time. My first thing that we get to see is What Mary did and that is receive the Wiseman into her home. Then she lets them fall down to their knees and worship her son. Here to me shows Mary's value to those who seek after the Lord...
