Mom of boys!!!!

But this I know: each of  you, equally yoked with the sons of god, will be a major part of a miracle of gospel learning and living that will hasten the gathering of Israel and will prepare God's family for the glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ."  --Henry B. Erying I watch as the world around us condone men. I really think of the feminism stance as one of tearing our men down. When we as mothers are the ones raising these men. The toughness that is given that men will be men and boys will be boys as a mother of six boys and three daughters haunts me. To have my boys go out to a world that condones them. God gave me my son's to raise and to be taught by me. It all behind in the home of we are having issues with the way men act maybe we should teach our boys the respect that is as women deserve. I know oldest looked at me one day and said "mom these feminist our tearing down everything want what we have and men like you have taught me if they want...

Herodias

Her story is found in Mathew 14:1-11, Mark 6:17-28, Like 3:19-20 Herodias happened to be the wife of Herod. Her story is the story of a woman that didn't like what a prophet said and literally wanted his head on a platter. John told Herod his wife was the wife of us brother. Which infuriated Herod and Herodias that they locked John the Baptist up. Herod was growing fond of John from his words. His wife in the other hand had plans to have him out to death. Enlisting her daughter from her other marriage to go in and dance for him. When her husband made an oath that his daughter could have anything she wanted, asking her mom what she should ask for she told her she wanted to have John's head on a platter. Herodias we learn from scripture was a vile and vicious woman. By the Jewish law it was unclean to take the wife of the brother and it is said to uncover the nakedness of his brother. Found in Leviticus 20:21. No wonder why Herodias started to get upset and became afraid of wh...

Spiritual Motherhood

Mathew 12:46-50, Mark 3:31-35: Background of verses: As Jesus was talking to the people his Mother and brethren steps about desiring to talk to him. Someone said to him Thu Mother and brethren wish to speak to you. He then answered and said unto the crowd " who is my mother? And who is my brethren? " Stretching his arms out towards his disciples and saying, " behold my mother and brethren! Good whosoever do the will of my father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, sister, and mother. " How do Jesus words teach us of spiritual motherhood? So many times we forget that we are all related from Adam and Eve as our common ancestor. That to think how much our immediate family blood to that of our neighbor and a stranger can be so significant in the way we should share kindness. A lot of time we here that a person is family blood related or not blood related. In spiritual motherhood how can we wrap around those that need comfort? We don't have to be a mother a...
